Ex-commander of a military unit was informed of suspicion: he sent subordinates to KMWA

A former commander of one of the military units of the TRO is suspected of exceeding his authority. The official sent four servicemen to the KMWA, due to which they did not appear on duty for a year.
This was reported by the Specialized Prosecutor's Office for Defence of the Central Region.
The investigation found out that the ex-commander had ordered the transfer of subordinate servicemen to the Kiev city military administration.
Being a military official, the suspect made a decision that could only be made by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, - stated in the message.
The man was reported on suspicion of abuse of authority by a military official to the former commander of a military unit on the fact of abuse of authority, committed under martial law (part 5 of article 426-1 of the Criminal code of Ukraine). The sanction of the article provides for imprisonment for up to 12 years. The petition to elect the suspect measure of restraint in the form of detention is ongoing.

Three of the suspects are deputies of the Kyiv city Council, and the fourth is an assistant. They are suspected of evading military service. As they did not appear on duty for a year and continued to receive allowances from the military unit.
