Dubinskyy suspected of state treason, court sends him to pre-trial detention center

The SBU and the State Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) have collected evidence of treason on the part of an MP of Ukraine who carried out information and subversive activities in favour of the Russian Federation. This was reported by the SBU.

The SBU did not name the MP, but Oleksandr Dubinskyy himself commented on the situation, and the media reported on a court hearing with his participation.

According to the materials of the investigation, he had the call sign "Buratino" and was a member of the criminal organisation, which was formed by the Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed forces of Russia (known as GRU), - stated in the message.

The SBU said that the criminal organisation was set up by the deputy head of the Russian GRU, Vladimir Alekseev, as an agent network operating in the Ukrainian capital. His deputy, Oleksiy Savin, was in charge of operational management of the hostile group from the territory of the Russian Federation.

The court on the night of Tuesday, November 14, decided to keep the MP Dubinsky under arrest until January 12 next year. About it the people's Deputy himself reported in social network.
