Activists created a map of organisations in Ukraine and abroad where LGBTQI people from Ukraine can find help

On the map of assistance you can find shelter in Ukraine and abroad, seek legal and medical advice, find educational courses and programmes.
All the necessary information can be found on the Gender Stream map of assistance.
The service unites Ukrainian and foreign organisations that assist LGBTQI+ Ukrainians and Ukrainians - about 20 NGOs in Ukraine, Poland, Slovakia, Moldova, Czech Republic and Germany. In the updated version of the map, you can find the nearest organisation on the map, filter them by services and cities or see the complete list of organisations on one page.
We created the map so that LGBTQIA+ people can quickly and easily find the help they need. Instead of flipping through dozens of pages looking for services from different organisations, you can find all the information you need in one place. The service also helps LGBTQI+ organisations themselves, as it makes their work more visible and understandable for the audience," says Olga Polyakova, Executive Director of Gender Stream NGO.
What information can be found on the map?
The organisations represented on the map provide such types of assistance and support to LGBTQI+ people:
- Assistance with housing
- Employment assistance
- Financial assistance
- Hormone therapy
- Psychological counselling
- Contacts of friendly doctors
- Payment for treatment
- Grocery kits
- Coaching and educational courses
- Blackout assistance and more.
How to use the interactive map
The map shows 'points' indicating the organisations in different cities. When you click on a point, a window appears with a link to information about the organisation and its official web pages.

The service allows you to search for organisations by specific services. To do this, select a service from the list and click on the corresponding button.
In addition, the latest update added the possibility to search for organisations by city in the list.
Organisations and activists who assist LGBTQI+ Ukrainians and Ukrainian women, but are not yet represented on the map, can join the initiative. There is a corresponding button on the service page for this purpose.
