Crimea's de-occupation requires a "goodwill gesture" from Russia - GUR
To de-occupy Crimea, Russia must be cut off from the peninsula and forced into a "goodwill gesture".
The Ukrainian Defence Ministry's spokesman, Andriy Cherniak, said this while commenting on the idea of former US Army commander in Europe Ben Godes to isolate Crimea from Russia.
According to Godges, Crimea is decisive in this war. Because the Russian occupation of the peninsula makes Ukraine unprotected.
Andriy Cherniak agreed with Ben Godges' assessments and added that to successfully liberate the peninsula, conditions had to be created so that Russians would start fleeing.
Certainly, the enemy should be cut off from Crimea - make it so that Russia cannot use the temporarily occupied peninsula for military purposes and, after all, carry out the so-called 'Crimean goodwill gesture'," Cernyak explained.
He also noted that Ukraine continues appropriate measures in the Crimean direction.
