Deserter shoots at monastery in Russian Federation, woman wounded


A Russian deserter in an inadequate state opened fire near a monastery in Russia's Kaluga region.
In the Kaluga region of Russia, a previously convicted Russian deserter who escaped from the war in Ukraine staged a shooting attack near the Optina Pustyn monastery. He wounded a woman and engaged in a shootout with police officers. About it reports the Telegram-channel ASTRA.
The shooter turned out to be 31-year-old Russian serviceman Andrei Dymovskikh. He served in the 41772, previously convicted on 158 and 226 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. Dymovskikh escaped from the war in Ukraine.
During the shooting, a local resident was slightly wounded.
In the region introduced a plan "Siren", the deserter Dymovskikh fled into the forest. At night, he opened fire at police officers during an attempt to detain him. The shooter was detained in the morning.
During the search for the shooter, the guard of the monastery accidentally shot at the police, mistaking them for criminals.
A video of the attack was published online. The shooter in camouflage with a machine gun threatens two women in scarves and shoots into the ground. Because of a bounced piece of asphalt, one of them was slightly injured.
