Desecrated Ukrainian flag: four people detained in Lithuania

Four people who desecrated the Ukrainian flag while drunk have been detained in Vilnius. The offenders face a fine or imprisonment.
This was reported by the LRT edition with reference to the police department.
The event took place in the evening of 15 October in the Lithuanian capital Vilnius. Four people were spotted in the city carrying a Ukrainian flag, after which they put it in a rubbish bin and, spitting on the flag, left.
The police said they detained three men who were drunk and one woman. One of them is a German national.
An intoxicated man (born 1980) (1.09 per cent), a man (born 1997) (1.17 per cent), a man (born 1987) (1.47 per cent) and a woman (born 1997) (sober) have been detained and are in custody. On the fact of desecration of the symbol of a foreign state started pre-trial investigation, - stated in the message.
For desecration of state symbols the detainees face a fine or imprisonment for up to two years.
Earlier, Socialportal reported that Lithuania would recognise Ukrainian driving licences without examinations.
