American media caught Vice-President Vance in a lie. He accused Zelensky of ingratitude.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has thanked US officials and people 33 times for their support in the fight against Russian aggressors. This is evidenced by the results of a survey conducted by CNN.

Journalists resorted to sub-setting because during his meeting in the Oval Office on 28 February with US President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance, they told Zelensky that he was allegedly "not grateful enough" to the country for its support.

You should be grateful. You don't have any Trump," Trump stated.

Did you give any thanks at all in this whole meeting? - Vance asked.

CNN points out that Zelensky has repeatedly thanked the United States for its help since Russia launched a full-scale invasion in February 2022, thanking both Trump and previous President Joe Biden, as well as members of Congress from both parties, US defence companies and their employees.

The publication will also provide a list of all of Zelensky's public statements in English, in which he expressed words of gratitude to the United States since 21 January 2022.

The journalists emphasise that this is not a complete list, as Zelensky's statements in Ukrainian were not taken into account.

By the way, after the scandalous meeting Volodymyr Zelensky also expressed gratitude to the United States, Congress and the people of the country and noted that Ukraine is working to achieve a just peace. Before that, the Ukrainian president also expressed gratitude already to US President Donald Trump on 12 February 2025.
