What to do if your home is destroyed, and they sent you a gas bill

Owners of apartments and houses complain that they continue to receive letters from public utilities demanding to provide testimony or even pay for services.
This was reported in the Ministry for the Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories.
The hotline of the Ministry of Reintegration receives applications from internally displaced persons who left the temporarily occupied and front-line territories, as well as residents of these territories. In particular, letters from gas suppliers are received by residents of Mariupol - they are required to provide up-to-date meter data. This is despite the fact that almost the entire housing stock of the city has been destroyed.
Gas supply organizations advised IDPs or residents of the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, whose housing was destroyed, to report this to the supplier's hotline, providing him with all the necessary data. Then the company will strike them off the list of people using gas.
Minister of Disintegration Irina Vereshchuk also commented on the situation: “The situation looks absurd. I believe that our actions should correspond to reality, but often, unfortunately, the authorities are out of touch with life. I think it’s not worth explaining why sending letters from gas suppliers to residents of destroyed houses is not you need ... you need to be more sober in your approach!"
