Number of victims of war crimes by the Russian Federation in the tens of thousands - Ukrainian Interior Ministry

These include torture, rape and the killing of civilians.

Ukrainian law enforcers in the de-occupied territories continue to uncover new evidence of war crimes committed by the Russian invaders. Police have already documented tens of thousands of war crimes for which the Interior Ministry stressed that the Russian occupants should be held accountable, the National Police of Ukraine has said on its website.

During Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, police have documented 47,000 war crimes committed by the occupants, including torture, rape and killing of civilians

It was noted that police work during the war was part of a strong legal front to bring to justice Russian war criminals who disregarded basic human rights declared by the civilized international community.

We would like to point out that since the start of the invasion, police have managed to track down around 30,000 people in Ukraine. The largest number of missing people has been recorded in Donbas. In total, law enforcers have received around 48,000 reports of missing people since the start of the invasion.
