An indictment has been sent to court against a former people's deputy from the "communist party" banned in Ukraine
He is accused of public calls to commit acts aimed at changing the borders of the territory or state border of Ukraine, the press service of the Prosecutor-General's Office has said.
The investigation has established that the communist participated in anti-Ukrainian events in Moscow and agitated for the "annexation" of the captured part of eastern Ukraine to the Russian Federation. He was also in favour of the official introduction of Russian troops into the territory of our state.
The suspect's speeches were distributed on a Youtube channel for an unlimited number of users.
During the searches, the former MP of the 3rd and 4th convocations found banned communist literature and pro-Kremlin publications. He also incited acquaintances to help Russian occupiers in case of seizure of Kyiv.

The conclusion of the forensic linguistic expertise confirmed that the statements in the published video material, are public and aimed at changing the borders of the territory and state border of Ukraine in violation of the order established by the Constitution of Ukraine.
Pre-trial investigation in the criminal proceedings was carried out by the SU of the Main Department of the SBU in Kyiv and the Kyiv region.
