- Britain's defense minister calls for Russia to be kicked out of Crimea

Российские войска надо выгнать и из временно оккупированного Крыма, однако для этого предстоит пройти "долгий путь".
British Secretary of Defense Ben Wallace said this in an interview with Sky News in response to a request to comment on the speech of British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss. In it, she said that the allies needed to redouble their efforts to oust Russia from all of Ukraine. Wallace was asked to clarify whether Crimea was meant.
The international community has condemned Russia for its illegal invasion of Crimea in 2014... We do not recognize this (annexation - ed. ) and constantly say that Russia must leave sovereign territory. So it hasn't changed,” Wallace replied.
However, he believes there is a "long way to go" before there is a prospect of regaining control of Crimea to Ukraine.
We support the sovereign integrity of Ukraine. We did it all the time. This, of course, includes Crimea. But you know, first of all, let's get Russia out of where it is now,” the British minister added.
