Britain made a statement on Ukraine's territories

London remains Kiev's ally and opposes the transfer of Ukrainian territories to the Russian aggressor. Britain believes that Ukraine's territorial integrity does not need to be discussed and the lands taken away from it should be returned. This was stated by British Finance Minister Darren Jones in an interview with the BBC.

London rejects any scenarios involving territorial concessions to Russia," he said.

Jones emphasised that Ukraine has the right to restore the country to what it used to be, including Crimea.

At the same time, he said that he would not comment on "hypothetical scenarios" of future decisions by the US administration.

'Our commitment to Ukraine as a country here in the UK is resolute,' Jones emphasised. - We continue to support Ukraine with billions of pounds annually, as well as support from our armed forces in line with our NATO commitments," he pointed out.

At the same time, he added that London is looking for a common path with Washington on the Ukrainian issue. Britain believes that Trump "has not yet entered the White House" and it is wrong to speculate on future US foreign policy.
