The Russians are deliberately destroying Ukrainian fields to leave the country without crops.

During 3 July, the occupants repeatedly shelled bread fields on the territory of Ukraine. This was reported by the State Emergency Situations Department of the State Emergency Situations Service of Ukraine in Donetsk Region on 4 July.

Yesterday, on July 3, rescuers extinguished at least four fires in the fields of Donetsk Oblast. In particular, the occupants shelled a field with wheat near the village of Tarasovka and the village of Yekaterinovka in the Kramatorsk district. At the scene, rescuers extinguished the fire on a total area of 9 hectares and saved 182 hectares of wheat at the root, preventing the fire from spreading to another part of the field.

Another fire broke out outside the village of Mirolyubovka due to shelling. The fire was extinguished, but the fire managed to destroy 2 hectares of bread.

Also, on 3 July, firefighters extinguished a fire in two fields outside the city of Kramatorsk, where wheat on the root was burning. The fire destroyed 89 hectares of wheat. Thus, during the day Russian invaders destroyed about 100 hectares of Ukrainian wheat in one day.

The occupiers continue to shell Ukrainian fields with crops. This is a conscious endeavour to harm our people, deprive food and undermine the economy of the country, - noted in the state emergency services.

It is noted that rescuers continue to fight the consequences of shelling, saving crops and minimising damage.

Earlier Socialportal reported that three bread fields were burnt down in Donetsk region as a result of Russian shelling.
