Blinken was shown the production of Ukrainian FPV drones and attack copters

US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken was shown one of the enterprises where drones are produced for the needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. This was reported by Digital Transformation Minister Mykhaylo Fedorov on 15 May.

I met with Anthony Blinken - together with the American delegation visited the production of drones, - wrote the Minister.

The meeting was joined by US special representative for Ukraine's economic recovery Penny Pritzker and US ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink.

The US Secretary of State was shown one of the drone production facilities. The drones manufactured there are actively purchased by the government and delivered to the front.

We discussed the peculiarities of production, logistics in war conditions and localisation of manufacturing of components for UAVs," Fedorov said.

The US delegation saw how Ukrainian innovations are produced - FPV drones and attack copters, which have proven their effectiveness on the battlefield. The Minister noted that in fact most of the tanks and various armoured vehicles of the occupants are destroyed by Ukrainian drones.

Fedorov also said that during the press briefing, Anthony Blinken announced a new $2bn aid package for Ukraine's defence industry. A special Defence Enterprise Fund was created for the transfer of funds.

Earlier Socialportal reported that US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken arrived in Ukraine on Tuesday, 14 May, as part of his first visit to Ukraine since the US Congress passed the long-delayed military aid package for Ukraine.
