Germany has said that it is interested in Ukraine joining the EU.
German Foreign Minister Annalena Berbock has said that Berlin is ready to step up support for Ukraine in its bid to join the EU. This was reported by Tages Schau.
It is clear that in the foreseeable future Ukraine will strengthen the EU, our EU," the politician said.
At the same time, she emphasised that it is in "our own, geopolitical interests that Ukraine joins the European Union".
