The "White Angel" took four children out of Toretsk, which was shelled by the Russian army. Two families agreed to be evacuated at once.
When police officers in armoured cars were taking people out, the occupants fired a package of Grads on the road where the evacuation crews were moving. No one was injured, the "white angels" successfully transported the families to safety. About it reports the press service of the police of the Donetsk region.
The Russians intensified shelling of settlements of Toretska community. The enemy is targeting the civilian population from aviation, multiple rocket launchers, artillery and other weapons, - stated in the message.
It is reported that recently two children - a 9-year-old boy and his 16-year-old sister - were killed in the village of Druzhba as a result of an artillery strike. After such events, more families with children agree to evacuate.
The families were safely transported by "white angels" to the evacuation point, where volunteers will help the rescued people get to housing in a new place.
During each visit to Toretsk, police officers visit addresses where children live and persuade parents to evacuate as soon as possible.
