The enemy has changed its shelling strategy, focusing on prolonged drone attacks and the use of North Korean missiles.

This was stated by aviation expert Kostyantyn Krivolap on air of the We-Ukraine TV channel.

According to the expert, the occupants have divided their strikes into two directions: terrorist attacks without a military objective and attacks aimed at achieving specific military goals.

Recently, protracted drone attacks of the Shahed type, which can last up to 14 hours and cover the entire territory of the country, have become particularly dangerous.

Krivolap noted that such attacks are becoming a new challenge for Ukrainian defence and require appropriate adaptation of defence strategies. The use of North Korean KN-23 missiles also adds complexity in countering aggression.

We will remind, earlier it was reported that Russia may be preparing massive strikes on Ukraine on the eve of Independence Day.

This was reported by the US Embassy in Ukraine, citing information from the United States Department of State.

According to them, "Russia is stepping up efforts to launch both night and daytime attacks with drones and missiles across the entire territory of Ukraine".

The embassy noted - this could happen before Ukraine's Independence Day celebrations on 24 August.

Over the past few days, Russia has been attacking Ukrainian regions with various types of weapons, in particular carrying out night bombardments with shaheds, actively using ballistics and tactical aviation. Also observed the other day was the redeployment and training flights of strategic aviation.
