Attack on Kharkiv: Russians hit the city for the first time with a FAB-500 with a planning and correction module

According to the Kharkiv OVA, the occupants shelled the regional centre at around 15:50. The Russians hit a residential area, a private house and a dormitory of a university were damaged as a result of the attack.

Four casualties are known. One person suffered an explosive wound with damage to the lower limbs, three others have acute stress reactions.

Today the Russians for the first time hit Kharkiv FAB-500 with a planning and correction module. This was reported to Suspilnymi by the head of the Kharkiv regional prosecutor's office Alexander Filchakov.

It is twice as powerful as KAB- and FAB-250, which were used earlier and which are used to bomb Kharkiv every day, - he said.

According to Alexander Filchakov, the bombs were launched from a Su-34 aircraft from Mayskoye in Belgorod Region. The distance between the launch site and the hit is 65 kilometres.
