- Armed Russian security forces stormed the home of a journalist in Crimea

In temporarily occupied Dzhankoy, Russian security forces stormed the house of journalist and human rights activist Lutfiya Zudieva, conducted searches and kept the woman in an illegal "centre for countering extremism" for several hours.
This was reported by the Ukrainian parliamentary commissioner for human rights, Dmytro Lubinets.
According to him, during the searches, the Russians did not let anyone into the house, not even lawyers. The invaders seized a video surveillance recorder, phones of all family members, memory cards and a laptop. Lutfie Zudieva herself was taken to the illegal "centre for countering extremism" in Akmesdzhit, where she was held for several hours.
Two administrative protocols were drawn up against the Crimean Tatar activist allegedly for "abuse of freedom of mass information".
Another search in temporarily occupied Crimea is a gross violation of the norms of international humanitarian law, which prohibit the extension of the criminal legislation of the occupying state to the occupied territory (Article 64 IV of the Geneva Convention)," Lubinets stressed.
In the opinion of the Ombudsman, the Russians are trying to suppress the Ukrainian resistance in this way, on the eve of the anniversary of the occupation of the peninsula.
Lubinets once again called on the international community to strongly condemn Russia's unlawful actions and increase pressure to stop gross human rights violations in the temporarily occupied Crimea, as well as the immediate release of all illegally detained citizens of Ukraine.
