Apple cider vinegar (ACV) has long been known for its health benefits, but its use in hair care is gaining popularity.

Due to its natural properties, JA can be an effective remedy for improving the condition of your hair and scalp.

Main benefits of apple cider vinegar for hair

1. Restore the pH balance of the scalp: The acidity of JA helps neutralise alkaline residues from shampoos and other products, restoring the natural pH balance of the scalp. This helps strengthen hair and prevents hair breakage.

2. Dandruff and itching relief: The antibacterial and antifungal properties of YAU help fight dandruff and reduce scalp itching.

3. Improving hair shine and smoothness: YAU helps to close the hair cuticle, which makes hair smoother and shinier.

4. Removing styling product residue: Regular use of YAU helps to cleanse the hair of accumulated styling product residue and impurities, making it lighter and more voluminous.

How to properly use apple cider vinegar for hair

Preparing the solution: Mix one part apple cider vinegar with two parts water. For example, 50 ml of vinegar and 100 ml of water.

Application: After shampooing, apply the solution to the hair and scalp, gently massaging. Leave for 3-5 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with cool water.

Frequency of use: For oily hair it is recommended to use the vinegar rinse 1-2 times a week. For dry or damaged hair, no more than once a fortnight.

Precautions

  • Before first use, perform a sensitivity test by applying a small amount of the solution to the skin behind the ear.

  • Avoid contact of undiluted vinegar with skin and eyes.

  • It is not recommended to use YAU immediately after colouring or perming your hair.

Apple cider vinegar is an affordable and natural remedy that, if used correctly, can significantly improve the condition of your hair and scalp.
