A woman from the temporarily occupied Oleshky dared to cross the destroyed Antonivskyi Bridge to get to the Ukrainian-controlled Kherson region.

The woman was filmed by a reconnaissance drone of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The corresponding video is being circulated on social networks.

Yesterday, 11 June, the Ukrainian woman went to the Antonivskyy Bridge and got in the field of vision of the AFU. She showed the drone of the Ukrainian defenders her passport.

The woman decided to take such a risky act in order to leave the occupied left bank of the Kherson region and evacuate to Ukraine.

The information about the woman who decided to escape from the occupation is confirmed by the Mostwebsite. A junior sergeant of the Kherson Defence Forces with the call sign "Max" told journalists that the woman was a Ukrainian citizen who had been living in Russia for some time after the start of the full-scale invasion.

This is a woman of the 73rd year of birth. She was heading towards the right bank. She was walking, went all the way, no one came out to detain her, as it was dangerous. When she heard that she was being escorted by a drone, she took out her Ukrainian passport and showed the camera that she was Ukrainian and wanted to go home. The drone started escorting her in the direction where there was a shelter, where nothing threatened the woman's health and life. The guys ran out, took her to the shelter and waited for further commands to evacuate the woman," the military officer said.

The woman herself told the military that after the full-scale invasion began, she left for Russia and moved several times. After that, she decided to return to Ukraine.

The woman travelled from Russian Belgorod to Dzhankoy, and then through Skadovsk and Radensk to Oleshki. The woman spent the night in Oleshki and went to the Antonovsky bridge.

The woman claims that representatives of the Russian army did not obstruct her "hike" to the bridge.

According to the Ukrainian military, the woman did not know about the destruction of the Antonovsky Bridge, so she walked so confidently.

The total evacuation of the woman lasted about six hours. It was very dangerous both for the woman herself and for the military of the Ukrainian Defence Forces. Now the woman is safe and feels well.
