A Russian drone that attacked Odessa region at night crashed in Romania

A Russian drone that attacked Ukrainian port infrastructure overnight has crashed in Romania.
This was reported by the press service of the Romanian Defence Ministry.
From Wednesday to Thursday, 13-14 December, Russian troops continued drone attacks on Ukrainian port infrastructure near the border between Ukraine and Romania," the ministry said.
The Romanian Defence Ministry said it monitored the situation in the border zone and activated air policing procedures, reporting the threat to the Tulcea and Galati districts. The airspace was monitored by Romanian Air Force F-16 aircraft from the 86th airbase in Feteşte and German Air Force Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft from the 57th airbase "Mihail Kogelniceanu".
The Romanian army's radar surveillance system detected a possible unauthorised intrusion into the national airspace in this situation, with the signal detected at low altitude en route to the Grinda area in Tulcea county, the Romanian Defence Ministry said.
The drone, which was used to attack Ukrainian port infrastructure, was found at the site. The drone left a funnel measuring 1.5 metres.
Romania has sued Russian attacks on civilian infrastructure in Ukrainian ports on the Danube.
These attacks are unjustified and seriously contradict the norms of international humanitarian law," the ministry said.
