A journalist said that the Russians entered the AFU positions in Kursk region through a gas pipeline pipe

The situation in the Kursk region has become more complicated in recent days. The Ukrainian command is still holding troops there.
Russian attack aircraft infiltrated towards the town of Suja in the Kursk Region via the Urengoy-Pomary-Uzhgorod gas pipeline. Defence forces are working to eliminate the enemy. This is reported by journalist Yuri Butusov and UP with reference to an informed military source from the unit operating in Kursk region.
It is indicated that about a hundred Russian attack aircraft took part in the assault on Ukrainian positions in Kurshchina towards Suja. North Korean military personnel are also taking part in the offensive.
As writes UP, the Defence Forces knew about the intentions of the enemy. Now the aggressor's plan, according to the publication, is to cut the road Suja - Sumy and thus - to create an operational encirclement of our troops.
The military reported that due to intensive fighting, the width of the Ukrainian bridgehead in the Kursk region has been reduced to 11 kilometres. Conducting defence and combat operations there is complicated by forested terrain and mass use of drones by the enemy on optical fibre.
It is noted that the Russians have been preparing for this operation for several days and cleared with KABs the zone from which they will withdraw.
Back in November 2024, the Russian military launched an active offensive against Ukrainian positions in the Kursk region, engaging the North Korean military in the process. In late February, the Russians began storming along the state border line near the village of Novenkoye in Sumy region. The Russians tried to cut the Yunakovka Suja highway, which is the most important logistical artery for Ukrainian troops in Kursk Region, on Ukrainian territory.
