The Russians shelled Nikopol in Dnipropetrovsk Region four times during the day. Two people were injured as a result of the enemy attack.
This was reported by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration, Serhiy Lysak.
According to him, the enemy fired about 15 shells from heavy artillery at the city.
A grandmother and her granddaughter suffered. the 83-year-old woman was hospitalised with a mine blast injury and a facial wound. a 16-year-old girl will be treated at home, - said Serhiy Lysak.
In addition, 14 private houses, 10 outbuildings, a shop were damaged in Nikopol. 3 garages, 7 parks, cars, several power lines and a gas pipeline were damaged.
In other territories of the region, despite the air alerts, there was no shelling," the head of the OBA added.
The Prosecutor-General's Office said that it had documented another Russian war crime and launched a pre-trial investigation into criminal proceedings for violation of the laws and customs of war (part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
