A GPS locator was found in the car of Andrzej Duda's motorcade. Polish special services suspect that one of the Eastern European countries may be involved in its installation. About it writes "Rzeczpospolita".

It is specified that employees of the State Guard of the Polish President this summer found that in one of the cars of the President's office was installed a locator of unknown origin. The device, allowing to track the position of the car in real time was attached to the car back in the summer and for several months transmitted information about the movement of the presidential motorcade.

According to the newspaper, the car with the "bug" was included in the president's motorcade and even accompanied him on his trip to Ukraine.

According to the media, the device was discovered by border guards at the Katowice-Pyrzowice airport.

Polish special services suspect that Russians could have installed the "bug".

If the investigation confirms the eastern direction, that is, that it was installed, for example, by the Russians and their services, we could have an extremely dangerous situation, - said one of the representatives of the Polish special services.

It is noted that the locator not only transmitted information about the president's movement to those who installed it, but could theoretically work as a tip-off for a possible drone attack.

Meanwhile, one of the representatives of Duda's office noted that such devices were centrally installed several years ago on cars transporting low-ranking officials. He did not rule out that one of the cars might have forgotten to remove such a device.
