5 hairstyles that will be in fashion this autumn
💇♀️5 top hair trends from London Fashion Week 2025
London has once again become the epicentre of beauty ideas: boldness, experimentation and glitter reign on the catwalks of the autumn-winter 2025 season, Elle writes. Make-up artists are playing with bright lips, glossy eyebrows and unrealistic lashes. But hairdressers are not lagging behind. Meet the top 5 trends that are already taking over social networks and easily repeatable in real life.
1. Pixie with side parting
The short pixie is back, but now with a touch of retro. Like Richard Quinn, where the hair was styled with super volumising spray and a blow dryer with a round brush. The idea is to lift the roots a little and set the shape, emphasising the cheekbones. The key is to not be afraid of structure and direction.
💡 Life hack: dry the roots in the opposite direction to achieve expressive volume.

2. Mermaid Waves XXL
Annie's Ibiza was inspired by Renaissance paintings, hence the long, flowing curls, complemented by fine braids at the hairline. Soft, as if tumbled in the sea wind, they look romantic and airy. It's easy to create them at home - all you need is a styler with a wave attachment, heat protectant and gloss spray.
💡 Tip: Don't flatten every strand to perfection - a natural sloppiness is a plus.

3. A modern beehive
Almost like the 60's, but with a modern accent. This is the hairstyle seen at Emilia Wickstead. Slightly tapered, smooth at the roots and voluminous at the top of the head and you're on trend. You'll need a mousse, texturising spray and some gloss for the effect.
💡 Works best on medium lengths and with added frizz.

4. "Glass" hair
If you're in search of the perfect shine, this is your moment. At the Roksanda and Harris Reed shows, the masters took hair to the level of a glossy mirror. The key to success is not gel, but care: scalp scrub, serum, lamellar treatment and tinted gloss for colour-treated hair.
💡 This style is especially effective on straight hair with an even cut.

5. A bob with an "as if you styled it yourself" effect
Simone Rocha went for contrasts - airy looks and natural, slightly dishevelled bobs. No hard styling. Light texture, natural movement and a "woke up like this" look. It's all about point cut technique and the right products: light oil and sea salt spray.
💡 The main thing is not to go overboard with the styling. This bob doesn't tolerate smoothness.
