The Bunker on Bankova - for the first time everyone can see it

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has shown a bunker under the Office building on Bankova Street in Kiev and his office.

This the head of state showed in a video in Telegram.

During his address on the fourth anniversary of the start of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Zelensky showed the bunker where he spent the first months of the full-scale invasion.

This office, this small room in the bunker on Bankova - this is where I had my first conversations with the leaders of the world at the beginning of the war. This is where I spoke to President Biden and this is where I heard: "Vladimir, there is a threat, you need to leave Ukraine immediately. We are ready to help you do that." And I replied that I need weapons, not taxis," the President said.

In the published video, he walked through the corridors decorated with patriotic posters.

Our people did not raise the white flag, but defended the blue-yellow flag. And the occupiers, who thought that here they would be met with queues of flowers, saw queues at the military enlistment offices. Our people chose resistance. And our soldiers - they stood strong, and civilians defended the cities, defended our villages, streets, yards, ordinary people, absolutely, a living wall stopped the columns of machinery. And all of us together told the lost Russia the only right way," the President recalled the events of the first days of the war on its fourth anniversary.
