Zelensky meets with NATO Secretary General Stoltenberg in Davos
At the meeting, the Ukrainian president stressed the importance of further strengthening the Ukrainian air defence system.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has held a meeting with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg at the World Economic Forum in Davos. This was reported by the press service of the Office of the President on 16 January.
The head of state thanked the NATO Secretary General for the sustained support of the Alliance in defence against the Russian invasion," the statement said.
Vladimir Zelensky and Jens Stoltenberg discussed the situation on the battlefield. The President informed about the massive Russian shelling of Ukrainian cities and communities, which occurred recently.

The signing of a bilateral agreement on security co-operation between Ukraine and the UK within the framework of the G7 Joint Declaration adopted at the previous NATO summit in Vilnius was highlighted.
Volodymyr Zelensky and Jens Stoltenberg discussed preparations for the next NATO summit in Washington. The president stressed that Ukraine was waiting for the adoption of decisions that would bring its membership in NATO closer.
