Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky spoke at the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday, 19 September.

A video of Volodymyr Zelenskyy 's speech at the UN has been published by the press service of the United Nations Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OP).

The Ukrainian president said that the Ukrainian peace formula offers solutions and steps that will stop all forms of aggression and in this regard, for the first time in modern history, there is a chance to end such aggressions on the terms of the nation that was attacked.

Zelensky emphasisedat the UN that "today more than ever humanity must act in full solidarity to save human lives."

Every war now could be the final one, but it takes our unity to ensure that aggression doesn't burst forth again. And this is not a dialogue between so-called 'great states' somewhere behind closed doors that can guarantee us all a new era without wars, but open work of all countries for peace," Zelensky said.

The President noted on the UN podium that the peace formula he presented last year at the General Assembly "has become the basis for the renewal of the existing security architecture, has become global: it was supported by more than 140 states and international organisations".

Now we can revive the UN Charter and guarantee the full force of the rules-based world order," Zelensky said.

The Ukrainian president also invited all present leaders and heads of international organisations to jointly prepare a peace summit based on the Ukrainian peace formula.
