By his Decree on July 25, 2020, the President dismissed the First Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) of Ukraine, Ruslan Demchenko. He was appointed to this position on June 16, 2020.
Demchenko served as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine. Previously, he was the Ambassador of Ukraine to Serbia, Montenegro. Consul General of Ukraine in Istanbul. He worked as First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
