Zaporizhzhya NPP connected to Ukraine's power grid

Ukraine has resumed the connection line between the Russian-occupied Zaporizhzhya NPP and the domestic power system.

This was reported by NNEGC Energoatom.

After a ten-hour blackout caused by enemy shelling, the largest nuclear power plant in Ukraine and Europe has switched over from its backup diesel generators and is again feeding its own needs in the power system," the statement said.

It should be noted that as a result of the shelling on the night of 9 March, ZNPP was completely de-energised and was in blackout mode for the sixth time.
