The World Congress of Ukrainians handed over armoured personnel carriers to the Ukrainian armed forces (photo)
FV432 armoured personnel carriers, trucks and armoured tractors reconditioned for the front line were handed over to the AFU's TRU forces.
This is reported by the Military Media Centre.
The armoured personnel carriers donated by philanthropists will be additionally equipped with night vision devices from a Ukrainian manufacturer.
The vehicles for the defenders were purchased by the Ukrainian World Congress of Ukrainians.
We continue co-operation with the World Congress of Ukrainians - in total we have already received forty vehicles. We also receive medical equipment, various uniforms, footwear, power plants, armoured vehicles. I am sincerely grateful for such help, - said the commander of the Territorial Defence Forces of the AFU Major General Igor Tantsyura.
According to the President of the World Congress of Ukrainians Pavlo Grod, the Unite With Ukraine platform was created to raise funds and purchase the necessary equipment for our defenders.
