Number of casualties in shelling of utility company in Kherson rises

The Russians have again shelled civilians in Kherson, with the death toll rising to three.

This was reported by Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson OVA.

The enemy shelled Kherson around 11:00 today. A public transport company was targeted.

A 55-year-old man was unfortunately killed on the spot. Another five of his colleagues were wounded and hospitalized. Doctors are treating them," Prokudin reported.

Later, however, two more workers were reported dead. a 43-year-old man suffered injuries incompatible with life and died in hospital. Also, a 53-year-old factory worker's heart stopped in the hospital.

Doctors did everything they could to save the man's life. Unfortunately, the injuries were too severe. My sincere condolences to the bereaved family," the head added.

Earlier Sotsportal wrote that the Russian Federation might resume shelling Ukrainian power facilities in the autumn. In addition, the government said that the occupants intend to blow up the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant.
