Volodymyr Zelensky: negotiations with Russia are possible only if the invaders leave all occupied territories of Ukraine
Volodymyr Zelensky announced the conditions under which negotiations with Russia are possible.
On August 18, after meeting with Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan and UN Secretary General António Guterres, the President of Ukraine announced the terms of negotiations with Russia. It is reported by Suspіlne.
I told my opinion to Mr. President of Turkey that there is no faith in the Russian Federation... I am very surprised that they are ready for some kind of peace. The people who kill and rape, who daily hit our civilian cities and civilian infrastructures with cruise missiles, cannot want peace. Therefore, at first it seems to me that they should liberate our territories, and then ... Then it will be later, ”Zelensky said.
At the same time, Turkish President Erdogan spoke about his vision of ending the war.
I remain confident that the war will end at the negotiating table, - reports Erdogan's words to Suspіlne.
