Five people killed in Lviv region due to Russian missile attack

The head of the Lviv regional military administration, Maksym Kozitskyy, said this on Telegram.

Today, around 4am, an enemy missile fell in the Zolochevskyy district during an air raid. Three men and two women who were at home at the time were killed. The fire destroyed three dwellings, three cars, a garage and several outbuildings. The fire was extinguished. Dismantling of the destroyed buildings has been completed. There were 28 rescuers, 5 units of special equipment and a canine unit involved. Thanks to everyone who worked quickly to eliminate the consequences of the rocket attack.

Kozitsky also said that the remaining missiles, which were over the Lviv region, were shot down by air defence forces. He cannot say exactly how many missiles were destroyed over the region because the relevant services were asked not to make this information public.

Also according to the official, the missile attack did not affect the energy situation in the region.

On his Telegram account, Kozitskyy also published a video of the aftermath of the missile drop.
