Authorities call on Kherson residents to evacuate: Russians pound homes
Four civilians have been injured in the past 24 hours.
This was announced by the Kherson city council and the Kherson OVA in Telegram.
Local authorities are urging residents of Kherson, and the region, to leave the region. The main reason is that Russian troops continue shelling residential areas. In the past 24 hours alone, 4 civilians in the region were wounded.
Dear Khersonians, systematic mass enemy shelling of the urban territorial community is now taking place. Due to the fact that most of the shells hit residential buildings, we advise you to use free evacuation so as not to endanger your own life and the safety of your relatives.
Right now free evacuation from Kherson is being handled by Helping to Leave. Volunteers take people by bus from Kherson to Odessa on a daily basis. The flight takes place twice a day - at 8:00 and 13:00 from the bus station at 1 Colonel Kedrovskogo Street.
It is necessary to be at the bus station 1 hour before the departure to get the documents checked. The luggage limit is 2 bags per person.
To get on the flight, you should write in Telegram-bot "Helping to Leave," fill out a form and call +380931776458.
Those, who signed up for the bus, will be sent appropriate sms with confirmation of departure time and bus number. Signing up means that the person has reserved a seat for him/her.
If there is no connection, you can come to the headquarters at 7 Lavreneva Street and sign up for the evacuation there.
The Russians fired nearly 360 shells from mortars, MLRS, artillery, tanks and UAVs into the region's peaceful population centres.
