The President visited the advanced positions of Ukrainian defenders in Zaporizhzhya region and presented them with awards.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited the forward positions of Ukrainian defenders in Zaporizhzhya on 4 February. The website of the President of Ukraine has reported this.

During his working trip to Zaporizhzhya region, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited the advanced positions of the Ukrainian military near Rabotino village. In particular, the Head of State visited the location of the 65th separate mechanised brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, - stated in the message.

The President spoke to the defenders of Ukraine and presented them with state awards. In particular, he handed the award "Cross of Combat Merit" to the commander of the reconnaissance platoon, senior lieutenant Andriy Olshansky.

I have a great honour to be here today. To support you and to present you with your awards. On your shoulders is such a difficult, decisive mission - to repel the enemy and win this war. I wish you this victory. I wish you to do everything to make this victory faster. I wish you to be supported by your relatives, friends and all citizens of Ukraine. All adequate people in the world understand that you have the most difficult job, and all Ukrainians are proud of you, - Zelensky emphasised.

Volodymyr Zelensky also awarded Ukrainian soldiers with the orders of Bohdan Khmelnytskyy and "For Courage".
