Vitali Klitschko told when the Kyiv funicular will start working

This was announced by the mayor of Kiev Vitaliy Klitschko.

In June, the funicular underwent a scheduled annual repair. In the course of the work, Kyivpasstrans specialists carried out maintenance and inspection of components, assemblies, propellers and lift systems. The security system of the funicular cars has been successfully tested under heavy load. We also examined the tracks and the contact network,” Klitschko said.

Klitschko said that the launch of the funicular had received approval from the authorities for the protection of cultural heritage.

So from Monday it is already possible to take advantage of pleasant trips on the capital's funicular, Klitschko added.
