Azovstal defender underwent surgery in the U.S.
US doctors performed surgery on a Ukrainian soldier who was defending Mariupol.
Azovstal defender Mikhail Dianov has successfully undergone surgery in the States.
This was reported by FC Shakhtar.
The operation took place in St Louis on 13 December.
The Ukrainian was reportedly wounded by a bullet in March while defending Mariupol.
The surgery was successful. After rehabilitation, Mykhaylo's right arm will be fully functional. In the next few days, Dianov will return to Ukraine," the statement said.
It became known that FC Shakhtar organised and covered all the expenses for the warrior's treatment.
