The head of Kursk Region, Roman Starovoit, has announced an attack by "Ukrainian UAVs". According to him, a drone dropped explosives on a substation, as a result of which a transformer caught fire. The official said air defences had been triggered in the Kursk district and urged local residents to remain calm.

At five in the morning Starovoit had to state that a drone had dropped two explosive devices on a substation in the village of Beloi.
