Russia says they didn't shoot at port in Odessa

In Russia, they said that they had nothing to do with the shelling of the Odessa port, where Ukrainian grain is being prepared for shipment. This was stated by Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar, writes TRT Haber .

According to Hulusi, immediately after the strike on the port, he received information about the strike from his Ukrainian counterpart, Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov. After that, the Turkish side contacted the Russian command, but they said that they had nothing to do with the attack on the Ukrainian port.

In the contact we made with Russia, the Russians told us that they had absolutely nothing to do with this attack and that they were studying the matter very carefully and in detail. The fact that such an incident occurred immediately after the agreement on the shipment of grain, we are very concerned, - said the Turkish Defense Minister.

In turn, adviser to the head of the President's Office, Mikhail Podolyak, wrote on Twitter that the missile strikes on the seaport of Odessa, less than a day after the signing of the agreement on the export of Ukrainian grain, are "a vile provocation of worthless Russia."

Recall that on the morning of Saturday, July 23, Russia attacked Odessa with cruise missiles of the Caliber type. Two missiles were shot down by air defense forces, two hit the infrastructure of the port.
