Russia is running out of foreign cars, with around 300 left
Dealers say there are dozens of cars actually available.
This is reported in the Russian media.
According to journalists, the Russian Federation has practically run out of new foreign mid-priced cars.
We are talking about Volkswagen, Kia, Skoda, Citroen, Opel, Renault and Hyundai. Russians can buy just over 300 of them on their websites.
And the organisation Russian Automobile Dealers reports that there are dozens of cars actually available.
It is not profitable to import mass segment in parallel - increased final price due to complicated logistics will scare away the consumer, but the current situation can help the Russian car industry.
The prices of those cars that are left have grown considerably. They have risen so much that the car is no longer in the medium price category, but in the higher one.
