Analysts of the BBC Russian Service and Mediazone have compiled their own "cargo 200" map. They analyzed how much more often Russian servicemen return home from the war in Ukraine in coffins or packages. They found that the risk of dying in a war is higher among residents of the outskirts and national republics.

They emphasized that the map is based on officially confirmed data on the death of military personnel from the Russian Ministry of Defense.

The death of 4940 Russian soldiers has now been officially confirmed. These are the people whose identity has been verified, their names and surnames are known, local authorities and the media spoke about them, - the analysts explained the figures.

At the same time, they admit that the real death toll could be much higher.
