Medical centre for Ukrainian refugees opened in Poland

Ukrainians will now be able to undergo examination and treatment in Poland free of charge.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine.

The centre for medical assistance to refugees is operating in a test mode for the time being.

The programme will be implemented thanks to cooperation between the Military Medical Institute and medics of the Armed Forces of the Kingdom of Jordan. The purpose of the project is to determine what help refugees from the war in Ukraine need more and how to provide it, taking into account that most people do not have medical documents with them," the statement says.

Services available at the centre include:

  • consultations with a paediatrician, therapist, surgeon, gynaecologist and psychologist;
  • laboratory and imaging diagnostics
  • immunizations for adults and children.

The following categories of Ukrainians can receive help:

  • citizens of Ukraine;
  • non-Ukrainian spouses of Ukrainian citizens,
  • ukrainian citizens with the Pole Card;
  • immediate family members of Ukrainian citizens with the Pole Card.

The centre will be open Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
