In Poland, unidentified people call to join PMC Wagner

In Poland, in Krakow, which is located in the south of the country, closer to the Czech Republic, stickers appeared on the streets urging Poles to join the Russian PMC Wagner. This is reported by Gazeta Krakowska.

The stickers appeared in different parts of the city on the same day. They are marked with a QR code, which leads to the Russian-language site. The site, to which the QR code from the sticker leads, informs what documents are necessary for recruitment, but it is specified that at the moment the recruitment of mercenaries is suspended.

The leaflets show the logo of Russian mercenaries and say in English: "We are here, join us".

The Krakow police are investigating what happened.

We are collecting applications, photographing the stickers and we will look into it. It's hard to say more now because it's only the first day," said Bartlomiej Izdebski of the Krakow Police Headquarters.

It should be noted that Poland considers the deployment of Russian mercenaries of the PMC Wagner in Belarus as a threat. In particular, Warsaw does not rule out that the mercenaries will try to break through the Suvalki corridor - a land route from Belarus to Kaliningrad Region (Russia). To increase security, Warsaw has already transferred several thousand military personnel to the border with Belarus.
