Russian special services involved in mass protests in Moldova - police
The number of foreigners arriving on Moldovan territory has increased sharply in recent days.
The Russian special services are working to destabilise the situation in Moldova and intend to provoke clashes between the Moldovan population and the authorities. The ultimate goal of such actions is a coup d'état, after which pro-Russian forces should come to power in Moldova. Also the special services of the Russian Federation are involved in the meeting held on Sunday, March 12 in Chisinau. This was stated by the head of the Moldovan police, Viorel Cerneutseanu, writes NewsMaker.
He said that the riot organizers formed 10 groups of 10 people who were prepared for the rally. Their actions were coordinated from Russia. All spies recruited were promised 10,000 dollars each for supporting pro-Russian forces in Moldova.
Cerneutseanu said that the day before the Moldovan police had detained seven members of an underground network organised by Russia. All of them had been sent to the country to provoke political conflicts.
Our undercover agent, introduced into this group, made contact with a person from Russia. A second Russian citizen, Andrei, came to Moldova to organise training. He had previously been to Moldova and had changed his name and documents several times so that it could not be traced," Cerneutseanu said.
We would like to point out that a mass rally organised by pro-Russian forces is taking place in Chisinau today. The Moldovan police said that the rally was counteracted by the Russian special services and provocations were possible.
In the meantime, the Russian media widely cover what is happening in Chisinau. According to their version, the people who came to the rallies are demanding to sort out the tariffs.
It is to be noted that 182 foreigners and 46 vehicles were denied entry into Moldova last week. According to the border guards, 165 of them violated Moldovan border and migration legislation.
Besides, according to the border guards, the flow arriving in Moldova has increased over the last day. A total of more than 23,800 people have entered the country in the last 24 hours, most of them foreigners.
