Defence Ministry reveals Russian losses over the past week

The Ukrainian Defence Forces destroyed 4,380 Russian troops, 178 artillery systems and a helicopter between 3 and 9 July. First Deputy Defence Minister Oleksandr Pavlyuk said on Telegram.

In the week from 3 to 9 July, the Ukrainian Defence Forces destroyed around 4,380 enemy personnel," he wrote.

According to his statement, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have carried out significant strikes against the Russian army's military equipment over the past week. As a result, 26 tanks, 76 armoured combat vehicles, 178 artillery systems, 31 multiple rocket launchers, 23 anti-aircraft systems, 113 vehicles and 45 pieces of special equipment of the Russian troops were destroyed.

In addition, Ukrainian defenders shot down one enemy helicopter, 10 missiles and 128 unmanned aerial vehicles.

Since the start of the war from 24 February 2022 to 9 July 2023, the Ukrainian defence forces have destroyed some 234,040 Russian soldiers, including 600 soldiers killed in the last 24 hours.
