In Crimea's Bakhchisarai Miniatures Park, occupiers have dismantled a scaled-down replica of the Statue of Liberty because of "Russophobic US policy".

The dismantling of a copy of the Statue of Liberty in Crimea was reported by Russian media.

The director of the Bakhchysaray miniatures park said that the statue was dismantled because of the "aggressive and Russophobic policy of the USA".

We removed the statue to the far end of the park. Let it quietly wait there until the US authorities come to their senses," he said.

In the published video, it can be seen that a man similar to the former head of the Verkhovna Rada of Crimea , Vladimir Konstantinov, was present during the dismantling.

During the occupation of Crimea in 2014, Konstantinov defected to the side of the occupiers and now heads the so-called "State Council of the Republic of Crimea".
