Information about Putin's trip to the front emerged immediately after it was revealed that Zelensky had arrived in Bakhmut.

The Russian propaganda media and investigative journalists Agentyagent wrote about it.

The information that Russian President Vladimir Putin had been to the front came immediately after it became known that Vladimir Zelensky had arrived in Bakhmut.

The Russian State Duma deputy wrote that Putin had been "in the zone of a special military operation." And immediately in the evening this information was picked up by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, who said about Gurulev's words: "If he means the headquarters where he was on Friday, then yes."

However, investigative journalists have studied video of Putin's visit to the headquarters and concluded that Putin was visiting the Southern Military District troop headquarters in Rostov-on-Don.

The large round table from the air defence headquarters and the interiors of the room in which it is located coincide with what is seen during Putin's visit to the headquarters of the military branches. The same headquarters was visited by Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu in November. It was then also claimed that the minister was in a "special operations zone".
