Defenders' children to be fed free of charge in Kyiv schools
Children and students who study at communal pre-school, general secondary and vocational schools in Kyiv and whose parents are defending Ukraine will be provided with free meals during martial law.
The press service of the Kyiv city state administration says this.
It is noted that the innovation concerns those children who have no registration in Kyiv. Because previously, children with Kyiv registration whose protective parents were registered in the capital were eligible for benefits. Now the privilege has been extended.
To exercise the right for free meals may be exercised by children of soldiers and defenders, who died performing combat tasks.
The city council adds that the authorities will continue to establish additional social benefits and guarantees for defenders and members of their families.
